Overview
Transit visas allow applicants to pass through Vanuatu in transit to another country without leaving the proclaimed area at the airport. If a stop over is intended you will need to apply for a Visitor visa.
Citizens of the following countries are exempt from the necessity of having visas in their passports when landing in Vanuatu.

Visa Conditions
- the holder of the visa must remain in a proclaimed area and not enter Vanuatu; and
- the holder of the visa is not permitted to make an application for any other visa.
